This policy explains what data Ascent collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We act as a processor for the assessment data our customers collect through the platform.
1.Data we collect
Account details (name, email, organization), assessment content you create, respondent answers submitted to your assessments, and standard technical logs used to operate and secure the service.
2.How we use data
To provide the platform, score assessments, generate feedback, secure accounts, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use respondent data to train third-party AI models.
3.AI processing
When you use AI features, the relevant content is sent over encrypted channels to our AI provider solely to fulfil your request. It is not retained by the provider for training.
4.Data residency & retention
You can choose your data region. We retain data for the life of your subscription and delete it on request or after account closure, subject to legal obligations.
5.Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Respondents can exercise rights through the customer who runs the assessment; we assist as processor.
6.Sub-processors
We use a small set of vetted infrastructure and AI sub-processors under data-processing agreements. A current list is available on request.
8.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes are announced in-product or by email, and the effective date above always reflects the current version.
